I'm getting married at 11.00am (not today, in September) and I spoke to the salon about having my hair and make-up done and she told me she'll book me in for 8.30am.
Is this enough time, considering I then have to go home and get dressed as well. How long do I need for hair and make-up on Wedding Day?
Well i don't think so, it's better to have more time than not enough. I would say get there for 7.30/8. Work backwards... An hour for hair, an hour for make up (at most) 20/30 mins to get dressed, then allow for time to get to the venueHow long do I need for hair and make-up on Wedding Day?
Depends on how close your home is, how far from your home to the wedding, and how fussy you are about your hair. If you're going to be picky and want them to redo it if it's not PERFECT, then I'd try to do an even earlier appt. They may not have any earlier though. If not...don't stress too much. You'll probably have enough time, and if not, weddings generally start a little late anyway =)
I would make sure I had everything ready, but if you live close around it should be a problem. You should have a general idea of how you want your hair and make-up by then and if you could have your hair clean when you get there, it would be even better.
What she is saying, is that the salon doesn't open until 8:30, and she's not getting up early just for you.
NO, that is not enough time. You allow one hour for getting dressed, one hour for getting to the venue (even if it's only 5 minutes away) and TWO hours for hair and makeup. This is because there are always things forgotten and last-minute uh-ohs that happen, and giving yourself ample time will cut down on the stress of the day. It's for this reason that most brides opt for evening or afternoon weddings. I would suggest a 7am hair appointment.
it takes about 4 hours to get it done completely,u better advise her to come earlier b4 8 am,unless she comes with another assistant.happy marriage.
Depends on how long your hair is, what style you want.
Usually 3-4 hours should do the job.
better get extra time ...
prepare a list, how long it would take for u to dress up %26amp; make up, double check preparation, etc ...
congratulations, i'm so happy for u ..
oh yes you can...happy married life...god bless you
frankly i dont think its early enough...
u will get all of only 2 hr for everything.. and if anything is not right .. ur gonna feel rushed up..
plus u will need to keep one eye on the clock and thats not good...
its better to be early than late..
add another hr if possible.. just to be on the safer side..
HOPE U HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME..
Gurl it will take you like 13 hours
congratulations by the way!!
That is enough time as long as you have everything ready to go when you get home...so your not scrambling for your shoes or something at the last minute. My best friend blocked off 2 hours for her everything on her wedding day (hair, nails, make-up) and we made it just fine.
Good luck!!
Ask her to make it earlier than that, because if she is running behind schedule you will get in a tizzy and mess up your big day. The worst thing for you that day is rushing.
Doesn't leave you much time! Why don't you get a hair dresser to make a house call! Some one who will come really early. Like 7.30!
well, we don麓t know how do you look like, it is difficult to say how long
but it is enough time, don麓t worry and enjoy your wedding day and the rest of the life :-)
at least 2 hours on hair because there is a slight chance they wont get it right the first time and will have to redo it. For makeup give it an hour. if you have a good makeup artist. I suggest one from MAC. They are the best!
You need two hours . It's enough to get ready to that great occasion.Congratulations!!!!!!!!
Plenty of time. My sister was married in October of last year and her hair and make-up were exquisite. It took her a whole of 5 minutes to get into her dress, because there were so many people around to help her out. Sounds like plenty of time for you to get ready, so I wouldn't stress too much about it!
no more 6 hours
