I am getting married in a few weeks and Im still looking for a make-up artist. If anyone knows of anyone in the Dallsa-Ft. Worth area that does make-up please let me know. I was trying to go the cheap way and do it my self b/c I am on a tight budget but I know that I can't do as good a job as an actuall make-up artist.Wedding Make-up?
make an appointment at your local Clinique counter and they will usually do it for free. but I suggest buying the lipstic or pressed powder they use on you so you can touch up during the day. ask for a trial run before you big day so you can see if you like it and book that person for you on the wedding day. so you'll spend like $30 for the cosmetics but the make over will be for free! I love Clinique!Wedding Make-up?
I am using a Mary Kay consultant.
make sure the make up artist test the makeup on you AND take a digital picture of it, so that you could tell how it looks on you on camera.
You can use MaryKay which can be about $75, or Avon don't know the price for Avon...Just go to one of the sites and try to find a Beauty Consultant
I agree with the Clinique counter suggestion, maybe mention it to the wedding party and get gift certificates for them as a gift.
I don't know of anyone to recommend specifically, but when I needed makeup professionally applied, I had very good luck making an appointment with an Aveda makeup artist. They're all over the country. Like the above post recommends, definitely ask for a trial run before your wedding day. http://www.aveda.com/index.tmpl?ngextred鈥?/a>
