What type of places will do both hair and make-up for my wedding?

I need someone to do my makeup and hair, but I never even went to prom in HS or anything, and don't know about this. Do most hair places also do make up or whats the deal? Should I call places and just ask? I dont want to sound like an idiot if this is uncommon.... lolWhat type of places will do both hair and make-up for my wedding?
yeah i'd just call some places in the phonebook.. go and try it out and see how you like the place before you go in for the big dayWhat type of places will do both hair and make-up for my wedding?
Full service salons should do it all
Look for a Merle Norman in your area. Most also have hair stylist. Good luck.
call a dayspa they do it all
Call and ask. Most upscale salons will do makeup as well.
most bigger salons do make-up. you can also have your hair done @ a salon and get your make-up done for free w/ a small purchase @ a make-up counter. all you have to buy is like, lipstick, but you would want to anyway to touch up. try it out before the wedding and when you find one you like make an appointment for that day. clinique is good for this as is MAC and Chanel
The best way to search for these services is through weddingchannel.com and theknot.com. You can search numerous vendors in the area of your ceremony (like florists, beauticians, and food, etc.). They also tell you their ';picks'; for the best. It will provide you with the company's phone number, address, and website (if it has one). Then you can bargain shop and find a place you like. I found quite a few of my vendors this way which helped tremendously since my wedding is out of state. Good luck and congratulations! :)
