Lots of department store makeup counters will do makeovers at no charge. The idea ofcourse is that they want to sell you make-up. My advice is to schedule several different appointments with various makeup artists representing several brands. One way to choose is to schedule with a woman whose makeup you like. Anyway, make sure you do this experimentation well in advance of the wedding. You wouldn't buy a wedding dress without trying on lots of different options-right? Have a friend take a photo of the finished product and put it in your wedding notebook, that way you can refer back to it when you are making a final selection.
If you don't usually wear makeup I would suggest you visit a department store or specialised makeup shop and get it done, see how they do it, decide if you can do it yourself having watched or not and try at home or book a makeup artist.

I recommend Makeup Forever or Armani or Shiseido.
M.A.C make the best Make-up.

If you go to their shop they will do a FREE trial for you.

So you can see exaclty what you will look like.
yes i have some make up tips for you
natural with a touch of shimmer, dnt over do it with heavy makeup
try search at goggles make - up tips
benefits make up!!!
id say something shimmery.....
those natural looks are the best.. like nicole kidman on her wedding day.
Try using Lancome Tient Idole foundation..it lasts for 14 hours and stays matte even on oily skin.

On your cheeks use bobbi brown shimmer brick in rose or pink for a light shimmer..

Best mascara is boujoris maxi frange mascara.

Don't know what colours you are having for your wedding but if you are having dark lips have neutral eyes...if you are having neutral eyes use a heavier coloured red lipstick. Heavy eyes and lips never go together...

It depends on your eyes and hair colour really!
Try looking like a member of Kiss or Marilyn Manson. It will make it a day to remember.
Mary Kay is awesome. Check out marykay.com for a consultant near you. You can get a makeover and have everything set and planned before your big day. Good luck and Congratulations.
I agree with those who recommend you ask for free trials at cosmetics counters. This worked for me. Give yourself plenty of time to try out a few - they can be very busy on Saturdays but might suggest you come in at a pre-arranged time. I used a lot of Clinique - very helpful staff and good prices. The colours suggested seemed wrong at first, but by the end of the session I loved everything. I didn't feel pressured into buying the lot in one go - I bought the foundation immediately, but took time to think about the other items and went back the following week. Big tip - take a sample of the colour you'll be wearing rather than trying to describe it. Mine was purple (believe it or not!) and matching the exact shade was a real help. Good luck, have a lovely day and a very happy life together!
Pop into your nearest Space NK, they do free make-up consultations. All the stores have qualified make-up artists, and if you really like the work they do you can hire the artist to do the work on the day.

My friend did this for her wedding day, it made it really special and the artist gave all the bridesmaid's and Mum's ideas too. They all looked fab!!!
light make-up... because dark make-up makes people ugly...
Clown s make up??

R u serious....??U r going to get married????

Little as poss.....look natural. good luck!
I don't have any specific tips for brands, but something to bear in mind is to make sure, if you are going for the natural look make sure you don't go too subtle and that you have a little colour otherwise you could look too pale and un-made-up in the photos. Once you find something have a couple of dummy runs and get someone to take a couple of flash photos with you wearing whatever colour your dress is and that will give you an idea of what looks most effective.

Good luck on your upcoming nuptuals.
its all aboul looking natural but also making sure the makeup isnt plastered on. estee lauder( available at a department store) have a great foundation with a lovely finish that lasts for nine hours its comes in honey bronze ( thats the one i use) and loads more. as for mascara id get one thats brown/black check out mabelline or benefit. eyeshadow go to mac tell them its your wedding and they will give you the perfect shades and useful tips. make sure u get a transulent loose powder and dust it lightly over your face to keep everything set again check out mac blotting powder you wont look dusty or chalky at all . have a great day
You are supposed to wear a bit more make up on your wedding day as the flash from the camera makes it look a lot paler so if you wear light natural make up it will look like you dont have any on in the photos, im not saying get married looking like a tart but just a little bit more than normal.

I am going to a wedding and I have to wear a red dress...need make up advice?

I was going to do a red lip with champagne shadow and dark eyeliner.

I am blonde and have blue eyes and fair skin --I've been told I sort of look like a cross betw Kate Hudson and Lindsy Lohan.

Make up ideas? Is a red lip bad to do with a red dress? Any ideas and links would be great.I am going to a wedding and I have to wear a red dress...need make up advice?
I think the red lips would look great with your red dress and given your looks, it would look really good. The champagne shadow for your eyes would give it a natural look, although I would not suggest the dark eyeliner, unless it`s really thin just to bring out your eyes a bit. Try to keep your eyes as natural looking as possible, and bring out your eyelashes by really curling them. That way your red lips will totally go with the dress. Good luckI am going to a wedding and I have to wear a red dress...need make up advice?
The red dress is already going to be eye-catching so I'd suggest a very light make up, unless you're going for the neon sign look, but I don't think so loll

So I'd go for light gold eye shadow and a smoky eye-liner look (not panda-like), a light pink blush (very little since the dress will sort of give a the illusion that your skin is slightly pink, well kinda depends on the light too) and a colorless gloss.
Personally, I always shudder when I see pink lipstick with red or orangy red lipstick with pink and always try to either match exactly where the colour is suitable or stick to correct tones. Have many lipsticks, orange red, blue red, bluish pinks, plain pink, orange, and various shades of brown toned.

Can you test different colours against your dres colour in a store? That way you will also see how it suits you..

Just realised you will wonder about my spelling of colour - I'm in New Zealand.
Heyy!

First of all, congrats on your wedding!

Your idea sounds good, but it all depends on the colour of your dress, red lipstick may be too much. If you do decide to go with a red lip, keep the rest of your makeup - eyeshadow, liner, etc. - very subtle. You definitely don't want to look like a clown. Otherwise, try a nude pink lipstick. Both looks will complement your dress.

Good luck!
Red lip stick and red dress? No I'll say do light pink and you should do liquid eyeliner on the top of your eye like after you put the gold eye shadow and black normal eyeliner in the bottom that will look fabulous :]

Hope this helps and have fun in the wedding :]]
Try a pink look. Or you can do a real simple look like I do to focus on my eye popping and yet having a natural look. Email me if you want to know how to do it: violationqueennichole@yahoo.com
http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t23/skimbaco/hk.jpg

This is what I would do with any red dress. Hope it helps.
red lip with a red dress is nice :) i would say to keep the eyeliner pretty minimal, so only ur lips are in focus, otherwise it can look a bit too much :)
that would look so HOT! Try using a carbon black liquid eyeliner and Mascara;; ii think the red lip is going to look really good=]]
Red lipstick %26amp; red dress? Definate no-no! Try a rich pink lipgloss, smoky eyes and lil tiny bit of bronzer.

Hair and make-up for my wedding?

Im gettng married next year, I would like someone to do my hair and make-up including the bridesmades too, I live in Barnet North-West London can anyone recommend anyone, contacts prices etc, not too expensive thanksHair and make-up for my wedding?
My advice is to get your usual hairdresser to do your hair. They'll have a much better idea of what you can and can't do with your hair and how it will suit you. It will also give you a change for experimentation during the next year.

As for make up, your hairdresser is bound to know a professional or two. Don't do your own make up, or let your mates do it. What looks great on a night out doesn't look as good on your wedding photos.

Good luck and the best wishes for married life!!Hair and make-up for my wedding?
I used a small company called Mary Kay for makeup and she was great

Good luck !
Ooh, I'd reccomend Tony and Guy in golders green or WADE which is just down the road, they're all brilliant and very cheerful too!

  • I'm in a wedding this weekend. How can I make myself look more glamorous than the everyday make-up?

If it's in the evening, do more dramatic eyes. That doesn't mean to slather it on, but to use deeper, more intense color, eyeliner pencils, and a second coat of mascara.

If you normally go glossy w/ lips, go matte.

    Wear hair a different way.

Big earrings that sparkle.I'm in a wedding this weekend. How can I make myself look more glamorous than the everyday make-up?
go to a salon and get it done! Merle Norman can do it to.I'm in a wedding this weekend. How can I make myself look more glamorous than the everyday make-up?
I am a mascara and lip gloss only type of gal on an every day basis. When I have to go to an event of that type, and am involved, I coordinate the color of the attire to the base shade of eyeshadow (making sure it compliments my eye and skin color) and the secondary (top color) I use a shimmery, soft champagne color - don't forget to blend them. That way it's not gaudy. For the lips, I use a nice color, and overlay a light gloss, so I have color on my lips to look finished, but still the glow o gloss.
Don't do anything too outrageous, or you will look back on your pictures and be disappointed. Your best bet would be to invest in great foundation (if you want to cover) or a good facial (a calming/revitalizing one--do not allow extractions or harsh chemicals that might inflame your skin). The end goal is to look healthy and natural, not painted.

A fun option now is eyelash extensions. They are really dramatic and look like your own. Call around to local salons to see if anyone is trained in the technique. They aren't cheap, but they last longer and look much better than the stick on kind.
You should try setting an appointment at a MAC makeup counter. They are makeup pros. It should be free too. Make sure you tell them exactly what you want. You should tell them how you usually put on your makeup and that you want it to be more glamorous. Personally, I like the smokey eye look with minimal gloss on the lips and rosey cheeks. Nice curled eyelashes also bring out the eyes (Mac has great natural looking eyelashes).
you can try beauty salon they might do cosmetology. good luck
    http://www.makeoversolutions.com/
go to the MAC counter , you will have to spend about 40$ in products but you will look amazing. and then you will have your lipstick and powder to touch up all day!
    MAKEUP ANSWERS!!! :)

I am known in my group of friends as the gal to go to when you need makeup advise.. so here goes:

Wear a smoky black or dark grey or dark brown PENCIL eyeliner on both top and bottom lids. Brush on a bronzy color of shaddow from lash to a little below your eyebrows (OH! EYEBROWS! Make sure you have a recent pluck or wax job to complete your look!). Depending on what color your dress is, add a deep burgundy-purple ';Dab'; of color over the bronzed eye shaddow.

Use a nice bronzer to warm up your cheeks, forehead, nose, chin and neck/chest/shoulders. This will make you look like you were in the sun for a little while before the wedding. Don't forget blush, no matter HOW old or young you are, it will make your face look thin, awake and fantastic (plus it's very romantic in the classic way).

Lipgloss is a must, but not in too dark of a color for a wedding, and don't forget a great mascara such as Great Lash.

My only ';have to buy'; i'd recommend is ';Dallas'; by Benefit Makeup Company (Macy's or other places that carry the line). Dallas is a bronzer/blush/';awakener'; combo that you can put on your lids, cheeks, and anywhere else to brigthen you up.

Note: stay away from glitter and any blue eye shaddow and pearls. :)

    Have a great time!

I'm in a wedding too! Mine's in Northern California in a small town called Moraga, not sure where yours is, but it would crack me up if it were the same one!

    Have fun!
use a nice face bronzer or L'oreal has this thing called glamorous bride its a gorgeous effect on your face try it

    Wedding hair and make-up?

I need some help! Does anyone have a link to some really good sites that have lots of hair and make-up pictures? I have to go for my wedding hair trial and I can't find a good picture anywhere!! I basically know what I want, but trying to explain it would be hard. I have searched on google images, and can't seem to find anything. Any tips or links to find a good site would be VERY appreciated!!

Also, what is a good brand (or should I just leave that for the person who does my make-up that day?) of false eyelashes? I want them for my wedding...not the really long and obvious fake ';blink really fast and you may fly away'; eyelashes, but just to add to the outer corners of my eyes for a ';romantic'; look.

Thank you so much!!Wedding hair and make-up?
As an upcoming bride myself the websites brides.com, theknot.com and weddingchannel.com are all good websites for hair and they are very easy to use. As far as brand of makeup I would leave that up to whoever does your makeup. I also would think that they would have false eyelashes on hand for whatever look you are going for. If not you can go to target and get some and cut them down to what you would like best. Congratulations!Wedding hair and make-up?
Well you can go to some websites that sell wdding gowns and check out the styles for this year. There are some cute styles on the wholesale brides dress web site ya I just confused my self just do a search on wholesale wedding dresses and then check out some of there hair does.
MAC has the best eyelashes! Mac's website also has several different pictures of brides in their bridal collection. Good Luck!

    Best make up for wedding?

    hi there!

i am looking to do my own make up at my wedding as i am quite pale and whenever professionals attempt to do it, it just looks cakey. Can someone recommend a good concealer or foundation that will last all through out the day? i have quite good skin so i don't really need it all over my face but i need it around the eyes nose and chin.

    ThanksBest make up for wedding?
Madam milf, that's just plain nasty.

    For your make-up question:

I've done make up for weddings so there's three products that I find I use at least one on every bride.

Clarin's Beauty flash Balm: This is applied under the make up and it helps to set it in place for the day. Great for people who find their make up wears off quickly. The added benefits are that it brightens and tightens the complexion temporarily.

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclate: This is a light reflecting concealer that makes dark rings disappear. Great if used under the eyes, around the nose and the chin. DO NOT use to cover acne as it will draw attention to it rather than conceal.

Loose powder: No particular brand is necessary, but don't use mineral powder as it's got too much coverage. I use the powder to give a movie star finish, to make the skin look more flawless. The trick is to empty some powder into a kleenex, dip a large powder brush into the tissue, tap once to remove excess powder and apply in small circular motions all over the face.

Hope this helps, and best of luck for your wedding and I hope you have a long and happy marriageBest make up for wedding?
Try a mineral powder foundation! Its light and never looks cakey, even on the palest skin! You get get a Cover Girl or Maybelline one for about $10 and they work amazing!
Just put a paper bag over your mug

Which do I have done first for my wedding-hair or make up?

not sure which is more efficent. I'm thinking hair first.Which do I have done first for my wedding-hair or make up?
I would definately go with hair. If you are going to get it washed, that would wash off any foundation or smear anything on your face. Plus, when they add hairspray, that would make your face feel sticky. If, after your hair is done, and it feels gross, they can wash it and then apply the make-up. Also, if the make-up is done last, then it will last longer.Which do I have done first for my wedding-hair or make up?
hair so that it wouldn't be in your face, plus when you get your hair blowdryed etc, you don't want your make-up fading off...
Of course hair. When they wash ur hair and stuff all the water going to ruin the makeup and mascara
Hair. It's more practical. You don't want to have some hairdresser flouncing all around you after your make-up's been applied.
    Do the hair first.
Have your hair done first and be sure and wear a button up shirt. I didn't and had to pull a sweatshirt over my head. Pretty stupid, huh.... Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.
This is what you have to do-

Wash hair (perhaps put it up in a towel), do your makeup, and then do ur hair. One reason is becuase if you do ur hair first you are definately going to sweat a little bit out of the pores in your face (if there will be no sweating involved then do ur hair first). When your face is moist from sweating out of your pores, your makeup will apply ';cakey'; and oily. If you do your makeup first, it wil go on smoothly and it looks better. When you are getting your hair done, she/he is, 98% of the time, focusing on your hair and will only be touching your hair...what she does to your hair shouldnt effect your makeup (unless she/he is sloppy and gets there hands all over ur face).
on my grad. nite...i did hair first! U should tooooo!!!!!!!!!!!
i would get ur hair done first. this way if ne product you use in ur hair gets in ur face it will be fine. also when doing ur makeup ur hair will be out of ur face. btw: hope ur weddings great!

Is anyone doing their own make up for the wedding?

I am going to do my own, because make up artist, just can't get it...I am looking for a foundation that has full coverage, and flawless.

Are you doing your own? Or do you know someone who did...did tthe pics turn out okay/Is anyone doing their own make up for the wedding?
my friend did her own make up and it looked a 100 times better then what the trial make up did. they really have no idea. everybody tastes are different and often people aren't happy with the coloring the make up artist has chosen. and it really is a lot of money. i think you will be happier doing it yourself as you know what you want. all the best for wedding day i'm sure you will look stunning! Is anyone doing their own make up for the wedding?
I did my own makeup, although my hands were shaking and I had to get a bridesmaid/cousin to help me. Just make sure someone who will be helping you get ready knows how to put makeup on you.

My advice for finding the right foundation, go to the mall (to the makeup counters) and have the women there do your makeup. They will let you try different foundations, etc. I did this on several different occasions and then chose my favorite makeup from the different counters. Also, you can watch how they do your makeup and pickup application tips if you like it. Bring the person who is willing to help you on the big day.
I was going to do my own, but lave lately been thinking of going for a trial and if I like it I will get it done on the day.

You should get a foundation that suits your skins need, not just go for full coverage because you want all the imperfection hidden on you wedding day.

However I would recommend stila. Mac is good too.

I would also reccomend that you use a skin primer first like modelco primer, which is clear and makes your face completely smooth and keeps the foundation on longer.
Hello there.. my maid of honour is doing my make up and my hair cos we are getting married in greece and i wont be able to have a trial with a make up girl, at least we can practice here.. i dont know if it is available in America but the best coverage make up is PAN STICK by max factor, number 13(neveu beige) or number 14 if you are darker skinned. Another very good coverage make up is BENEFIT i think they are called PLAYSTICKS. Benefit can do a test on you and you can buy it then. If neither of these are sold in the states you can buy them online I am sure, the Pan stick is about 鈧?0 euro and the benefit is about 鈧?0 euro (in ireland so maybe cheaper online) . You could use a pressed powder over these to take the shine away it works wonders. Ive loads of freckles and panstick covers them up completely without looking like i have piled the make up on.

Let me know what you think

    Thanks and good luck!!

EDIT TO ADD: Heres links to Yahoo Shopping where, for the Pan Stick and Play Stick! Hope this helps

I probably am - or will have my sister help me - because we've had to scale back the budget and that was a ';luxury'; item that we could do without.

I wouldn't dare go without makeup - I did that for the engagement photos and I wasn't happy with the flaws you can see in the pics. Its not horrible, but I know with makeup I would have looked better and been happier with it myself.

I like Trish McEvoy - - available at some Bloomingdales stores for sure, not sure where else its available.

If I can squeak the money out of the budget for someone to do my makeup I will.
I did! A month before the big day I went to the Estee' Lauder counter at the local Macy's, and asked them to teach me how to do formal makeup, and they had me explain what colors I generally wear (For me, it's peaches and golds), and they taught me how to do my makeup. Then, as a treat to myself I bought the makeup they used on me, and I practiced for the weeks before the wedding, and the photos turned out great. I looked like me, except a more glamourous version!
I did my own because we had a destination wedding. It came out great. Unless you're totally not used to wearing any makeup or are a klutz, you can do yor own.

A great foundation for coverage and feeling nice is Lancome. It's about $45. but well worth the price, IMO.
I did my own, because I really wanted to just look like ME, just maybe a bit more enhanced, hopefully!

If you don't have a foundation that you use now which you love, go to a cosmetics counter with a good salesperson who can show you the best for your skin type.
My best friend got married a few weekends ago. She and one of her other bridesmaids did her make-up and it looked gorgeous. And I agree, a lot of times professionals put more make up than most girls would wear, and they just end up uncomfortable looking.
sometimes we know better what suits us, how suits us..

It hardly matters from where do you do your make up.. all that matters is HOW DO YOU LOOK that day..

    good luck!

  • How much does it cost in NY for wedding photography and (Pakistani) bridal make-up?

Photography can range depending on what you're looking for. It can go anywhere from $1,500 up. You'll have to be more specific in what you are looking for.

As for make-up, I'm not too sure about ';Pakistani'; make-up....but bridal make-up again can also vary. Mine cost about $125 and that's airbrushing and full make-up and she came to my house....How much does it cost in NY for wedding photography and (Pakistani) bridal make-up?
It varies per photographer and per different packages.

But I would say it ranges from anywhere $2500 to $5000.

I am not too sure about Pakistani make-up, but the typical make costs about $150-300 for the Bride, $100-200 for Bridemaids. If you will need trials, they will cost money as well.

    Make up for wedding ?

Hi Im getting married in July and would like some tips on what colour make up to wear. I dont want to get a professional in to do it as I have tried and I dont like any that they do.

I am very pale with brown hair and brown eyes.

I was thinking of maybe keeping if natural with browns neutral shadeeyeshadows, lipstick, etc, but I dont know weather or not to add a bit of colour like green eyeshaow and pink lipstick. Im not sure, My dress is Ivory but I cant see than making a difference as I cant really wear Ivory make up to match lol,

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

    ThanksMake up for wedding ?
To answer your question, there are a couple of things you need to answer for yourself:

    1. Dramatic?

    2. Natural?

    3. Staying power?

If you are going for dramatic, use a smokey eye and you'll look beautiful. Line eyes (both top and bottom) with a brown pencil. Then use a dark brown and blend from lashline to just above the crease. Smudge this same color along the bottom lash line. Apply at least 2 heavy coats of mascara. Find a light color like cream or ivory with a little shimmer as the highlighter under the brow bone and in the corners of your eyes.

My number one suggestion is to go NATURAL. On your eyes use a light brown as a base with plums and purples as your other colors. Purples and plums will make your eyes POP! Use a brown eye liner and mascara to top off your look.

Staying power is going to be important. You want your pictures like you had your make-up professionally done even if you did it yourself. Make sure that you use a foundation that is NOT going to smear or transfer to clothing or others. I would suggest MAC's FACE AND BODY. It will give you that flawless skin. Just remember to blend well.

Try these out and see what looks best. Remember, the key is to look beautiful on your wedding day.Make up for wedding ?
I gave a lot of thought to this. It's your special day so you'd want to look really special, you must have the spotlight. Why not try doing something to highlight one of your best features? Your lips, maybe? You can use a pink eye shadaw, charcoal mascara (PLEASE not blue) and maybe a cherry red thickly applied GLOSS on your lips.

P.S. If you decide to use my answer, let me know so I can give you some tips on it. If not, let me know so I can help you out with some more tips.
this is a good site for bridal makeup tips http://www.free-makeup-tips.com/makeup/b鈥?/a>
keeping it natural is a wonderful, and you'll already be a blushing bride, i would suggest playing up a certain area of your face such as your eyes, get some fake eyelashes ( you wont be able to tell that they are fake, trust me) they will absolutely make your eyes pop, maybe a little bit of dark brown eyeshadow and an extra layer of mascara. If you choose to play up your eyes, try and go easy with the rest of the makeuo, you dont want to look like a drag queen, or maybe you do i dont know, some drag queens actualy look better than a lot of girls, not impling that you should look like a drag queen. :P haha okay but it doesnt have to be the eyes you play up it could be your lips. try wearing a bright red lipstick, it looks good on any skintone!

    Congrats on the big day!

    hope this was useful!

    bye
try using a light purple eyeshadow, black eyeliner, red lipstick and a pink or red or rose colored blush. if you hav a pale complexion always a darker color but not to dark eyeshadow
look in reality I refuse the idea of make up without talking about wedding,me and the most of people (boys-men) prefer the nature beauty specially in specials time like wedding for me go with Ur nature beauty go and make them crazy about U go and be the top one,go and light there chapel,Take care I'm here for more answers ,Ur friend Taki
hii pixie, as your id suggests i think you take extra care of your feet and you hav a pretty feet.......just put more and more efforts to make your feet look gorgeous
You can go with green shadow or pink lipstick but stick to one or the other, always remember when accenting a feature, pick one or the other or it winds up what could be beautiful, turns out to be gaudy. Congrats on ur wedding! Best Wishes!
    hey!

i would suggest shades of golds and browns for eye shadow and black mascara

    clear lipgloss

blusher or a tiny bit of bronzer

I like your idea of keeping it natural, but I would do everything natural and do one lush thing, you know? Really lush eyelashes with white eyeshadow (do it sheer) and pale blush; defined lashes, white eyeshadow, red-pink lips; ect.
I wz a bridesmaid nd i have brown hair nd pale skin! I wore a light glittery eyeshadow nd a natural colour lipgloss the lipgloss wz virginv and it lasted 4 ages! The green also looks nice in the pictures
makeup counters in department stores and sephora are great for this. if you go in at a time when it isn't busy you can just ask them for help in selecting colours. you don't have to buy the products, just get an idea of different palettes and how they look on you. depending on your budget you can purchase them there or find similar colours at a cheaper place while they are still on your face.
You should wear natural colors. It's your wedding and you are going to be the center of attention. Wear a light brown eye shadow and a light pink lipstick. Don't wear green eyeshadow. I don't think it will go with what you are wearing.

    Congrats on your wedding day!

    Okay, this will be easy.

YOUR EYES: If you have brown eyes, i suggest using a black mascara, and a neutral- toned (brown) eyeliner. This will make your eyes look deep, but not gothic(because your not using too much black). Then, I say eyeshadow is a no-go. Most grown up women don't wear eyeshadow, because it is very little-girlish. But if you must, use a creamy brown or tan.

YOUR FACE: Use a bit of foundation, so your skin looks even. And, if you have blemishes or acne, cover 'em up!

YOUR EYEBROWS: If they are looking a a little thick or bushy, wax them, or if you want a no cost deal, pluck them. Whatever you do, do not shave them off and draw new eyebrows!

YOUR CHEEKS: Use a flushed pink blush for your cheeks, whick looks best for brunettes.

YOUR LIPS: This might sound crazy, but trust me. Use a pink lipstick, with a hint of orange, to bring some color. Make sure you use high quuality lipstick, because otherwise, it dissappears in 5 minutes!

    Hope this helps!
I think you are totally right to go with natural colors browns... You don't want to look back at your wedding photos and see yourself with outrageous makeup. I am sure your dress is beautiful, leave that to grab peoples attention.
Hello! Congratulations on this wonderful day in your life!

Should I have my make-up professionally done for my step sister's wedding?

    She's getting married this December.

    I'm 14 and I'm going to be a bridesmaid.

Should I have my make-up professionally done for the wedding?Should I have my make-up professionally done for my step sister's wedding?
just go natural with just a hint of make up done by a family member. there is no need to go over the topShould I have my make-up professionally done for my step sister's wedding?
First of all...let me say how wonderful it is that your step-sister invited you to be her bridesmaid. It must mean that your family did a great job in the blended family thing. How cool is that?

Why don't you ask your bonus sister what she would like? When my big sis got married...the second time, she had her hair and make-up professionally done. I went to the salon with her and got mine done at the same time. It was a sister-bonding time before the wedding. Your big bonus sis might enjoy it if you tagged along for that special time together before the wedding.

Then again, she might not, so just ask her. If she asked you to be a bridesmaid, that means she loves you. So, it is ok to ask her. Even if she doesn't want you getting your make-up done with her that morning, she loves you.
Nope. Waste of money, and no offense, no one will be looking at you. They'll be looking at the bride and groom ;-)

Ask a friend who wears good makeup, your mom, aunt, whoever, to help you out. Or just be extra careful and put in more effort than usual, and do it yourself.
No, you are too young. Get your hair cut cute. You can wear some eye mascara, eye shadow that is not too heavy, a light blush on the cheeks, and a pink lip gloss.
No,......why anyway as you are not the bride and only 14 years old. You should not be wearing as sophisticated a make-up look as the older girls, especially the bride.
No, simply have a family member do it for you who is available.
    No.

Ask your mom or an older friend/neighbor.
no just practice %26amp; do it yourself
if it's in your budget yes but if not i think your sister will understand

Make up and hair ideas for wedding?

My cousin is getting married and I plan on wearing a red dress.

I have blonde hair, blue eyes, and light colored skin.

What should I do with my hair and make up?

    Ideas or suggestions help!

(:Make up and hair ideas for wedding?
I would say whatever you do just tone it down. Red is a really bright color to wear at a summer wedding. You want to make sure you look as natural as possible so all eyes are not on you!Make up and hair ideas for wedding?
ya with a red dress you dont wanna over do the make up :/ so for eyes if you do a dark color eyeshadow like a brown with shimmer natural colors like bronze colors it will really bring out the blue. since you have light skin you proably wanna do a light pink for lips. If you do a dark color it'll put all the focus on your mouth %26amp; u want the focus on ur eyes. For hair since its summer probably up with some cute curls :)
    you should make your hair

    like this http://hairstyleschat.com/wp-content/upl鈥?/a>

    that would be good

and then just wear mascara and

    eyeliner and you'll be perfect!
Wear as little make up as possible, preferably none, and keep your hair very simple, preferably in a ponytail or just down.
a small amount of peach color blush

    light red lipstick

;)and thin eyeliner and light/shimmery brown eyeshadow
Defiantly go with wavy hair with a curling iron, brown eye shadow or pink and lips rose red! :)

Help with skin tones for wedding day make up?

I can't for the life of me figure out my skin tone colour; all the classic guidelines tell me I'm both warm and cool. I am a fair skinned, dark brunette with blue eyes. The colours that make me look alive and vibrant are cool: blues, purples, greens, teals, burgundies, etc. However, yellow gold jewelry glows against my skin while silver and white gold just lie there. The veins on the underside of my wrists look more blue than green, but aren't a true blue, either. I'm not sure about my iris 'pattern'; I would describe it as a sunburst, I guess. If I hold a white towel against my face, my overall 'tone' looks kind of golden pink, if that makes any sense at all. I just don't know how to call this: warm or cool?

I am getting married in 3 weeks and would really like to understand this for my makeup colours. By the way, I am an older bride (46) and will be wearing a medium, steel blue dress. Any advice or suggestios would be most welcome! Thank you.Help with skin tones for wedding day make up?
Alright well first of all do you think you look better in pure white? if so then go for cool shades of foundation. If you look better in cream or off white then choose a warmer tone. To find out more about what your skin tone is take a coral lipstick and a pink lipstick hold it up to your face if your skin resembles the pink more, you have a pink undertone. If it resembles the coral more then you have a yellow undertone.

When applying your foundation i recommend you use your fingers to apply it rather then a sponge if you are looking for a more natural look. The warmth of your fingers will spread the foundation quickly and more evenly with control.

Now as you said the classic guidelines tell you you are both good in warm or cool tones. So in that case i consider you lucky to have such a nice skin tone. So in that case you can decide whether you want a more warm look or a more cool look but either way it should look gorgeous.

If you haven't chosen your shadow colours yet i recommend you find a shadow that compliments both your eyes and dress. If your not getting a professional to apply your makeup for you then i suggest you look on youtube for a couple make up tips on applying.

So congratulations for the wedding and i hope this helped either way I'm sure you'll look great =)Help with skin tones for wedding day make up?
Congratulations! You sound lovely, and it sounds like your skin tone is in-between. Since your dress is a very cool color, I would suggest sticking with warm tones for your makeup. This will help you keep a more youthful appearance and avoid looking washed out. You're probably going to be taking lots of pictures and with the flash, that's another harsh element. Let your eyecolor and dress color play off each other, and try a subtle pinkish-brown for the lips and neutrals around the eyes %26amp; cheeks.
umm you can go to a make-up counter like in macy's and ask them to make a custom shade for you
I would have to see your complection. I sell Mary-Kay and would be more than happy to help. You can post or email a picture of you and your dress and I can figure out what colors would look best on you and email them back to you so that you can look great on you big day. We have lots of blues that we could put together with some other colors making it a trio and I think it would look really nice. Hope I can help.

How should i be having my make up and dressing for my wedding in traditional indian method?

how should i look my best during my wedding in a hindu traditional marriage%26gt;?How should i be having my make up and dressing for my wedding in traditional indian method?
Yes, make up is essential for a wedding. How should i be having my make up and dressing for my wedding in traditional indian method?
Wear a silk sari, preferably in red since that is the Hindu color of marriage.

    Keep make up simple.

Wear your hair in a braid or a bun, and wear flowers in your hair, preferably strings of jasmine.

Get your hands and feet decorated with mehndi [henna] for the wedding.

Wear gold jewelry, except anklets if you're wearing them, since according to Hindu custom you do not wear gold on your feet. [you can wear a necklace, earrings, nose ring if you have your nose pierced, bangles, anklets, etc.]

Get a silver toe ring, since toe rings are traditionally worn by married women.

    Wear a red bindi/sindoor.

    Hope that helped : )
Wear a very nice sari they have the best collection in Jackson heights, NY in case u don't have one and leave Ur hair open if not than put it in a bun with real flowers around it do dark make up if nite wedding wear high heal and enjoy Ur self...also wear gold jewelary but plz make it simpel some desi woman are known to over do it and it just looks whack

don't wear makeup the yellow dress will make her stand out enough
natural make up an 4 the hairdo side ponytail with a poof or a side braid
weddings are usually sophisitcated so u don't want to wear a lot of makeup. depending on her age i would say she should wear

    *foundation

    *a light pink eyeshadow

    *brown eyeliner

    *soft black mascara

    *light pink lip gloss

i'm not sure about hair...but if u go to a salon they usually have books and u can pick out what style u like the best.

    good luck
For eyeshadow she should do something neutral like browns or golds.

    They go great with yellows.

and as for her hair...Whats the dress like?

    Halter or what?

It the dress has a lot going on up top..like lots of sequence and such she needs it down.. you don't want to go overboard!
i think just make the eyes more big . try to put on a white eyeliner in the bottom and use face lashes and stuff (black eyeliner is alright too). dont put too much eyeshadow, maybe a little bit black will be okay. hair do? well, i think make a little puff on top of the head (if u get what i mean) then use a crimper to do the rest of the hair. hope it helps.
Im Here To The Rescue (Hopefully)

A little bit of foundation, mascara, silver or gold eye shadow and lip gloss :)
for the hair i think banana curls would look cute. and the make up... maybe a very thin line of black eyeliner and i think a silver eye shadow might look cute. but put a VERY light layer on. enough so u can see it kinda sparkle. and mascara blush the works. hope that helps. Good Luck!

  • My mother is going to a wedding and i'm doing her make-up what eyeshadow should i use?

I was thinking of using brown and a little green, would green be too in your face for a wedding?

ThanksMy mother is going to a wedding and i'm doing her make-up what eyeshadow should i use?
well, if she has brown/black eyes, than green is a good choice. If she has blue eyes than maybe a dark (DARK) hue of purple/black would look nice. if she has Hazel eyes than a light green and brown are pretty. if her eyes are green, than I think maybe shades of browns.

but then there's the dress problem...My mother is going to a wedding and i'm doing her make-up what eyeshadow should i use?
It depends on the shades and what lippy she wears. If the lips r drk dnt ovapowa it on the eyes makeup, bu if the lips r lyt then go 4 it on the eyes. Personally i wudnt put brown wid green bu its ur choice, test it out b4 the day 2 c ow it lks
    What colour is her dress??
You should go with colors that bring out her outfit. As long as the colors aren't loud and distracting green should be a good choice.
Nothing compares to Chanel eye shadows!!!
i would say like a warm vanilla or toffe

maybe a white with a little baby pink
Bright blue...in case she gets lost.

you should use a brown eyeliner and make it very subtle. then use a dark brown/shimmery eye shadow and just put it on the lid and a little underneath.

What make up color and necklace should I wear with a red dress to a wedding?

Personally, I think that Gold Jewelry looks AMAZING on Red dresses. The dress will be a big enough statement. Keep the Jewelry simple %26amp; chic.

My Fashion Blog: http://la-fashion-a-la-mode.blogspot.comWhat make up color and necklace should I wear with a red dress to a wedding?
A single strand of pearls, nude lipstick, and really dramatic black smoky eyes. What make up color and necklace should I wear with a red dress to a wedding?
pearls baby, it's a wedding. wear a pearl bracelet too.

make a statement with the purse and shoes, black of course... and keep the makeup subtle and to match your skin tone, except for the lips which should be a compliment to the dress!
A delicate gold necklace and earrings. Wear red lipstick and black eyeliner
For make-up try a light brown with a darker brown for a natural look if you want to go dramatic i would try some white mixed with a little red but not alot (make sure it matches the dress) for a necklace i would go with diamond or sapphire.
Deep blue and silver for makeup. A necklace with something in black.
    white or gold
    Pretty necklace with crystals :)

Make up issues for wedding day, Help?

I get married in a couple of weeks and i find that i have a darker skin patch around my mouth area than the rest of my face, as i want to look my best on the wedding day (and on photo's) i would like to know any advise on how to get rid of this. Any tips for wedding would be greatMake up issues for wedding day, Help?
See a dermatologist - this can be caused by certain medications %26amp; can be alleviated w/ skin lightening creams.

Skin lightening creams are sold over the counter but must be used carefully. Don't take chances - get a dermatologists recommendation to avoid any unwanted side effects.

BTW, Dermablend is a product line that offers complete coverage of birthmarks, etc. http://www.dermablend.com/Make up issues for wedding day, Help?
First and foremost.. spend a lil money on your foundation.. such as bare minerals!!!! call your local salons and see if they carry it.. and see about them helping you to find your color!! i have friends who have spots and use it... and it covers beautifully!! not only will it cover your face, but it will give you a beautiful glow!! i use it for everyday and it's light and airy and doesn't clog the pores!!
go to the dermatolgist and get some medicine i suggest you should have gone much earlier though cause its prolly gonna take a around a month for it to clear up
    go 2 the doctor!!
    you're pregnant.

    it's called a 'pregnancy mask'.

there is nothing you can do (short of having an abortion. and there's not enough time to schedule one before the wedding).
    concealer it works like magic!!!!!!
Your wedding is a special day and should be the happiest day and you will hopefully only have one so I would say go get your make-up done by a professional for that day. And Congratulations and have fun!
See a dermatologist, but for the wedding, have your make-up done by a professional. They are true artist for these kind of things.

    Congrats!

Are you having your make up professionally done for your Wedding?

Also--are you having fake eyelashes? I think they're pretty but they can't be too thick...I've never wore them--are they hard to get use to?Are you having your make up professionally done for your Wedding?
The same with everything else new you are doing for your wedding... Try it out first before hand.. As long as you can..

Shoes. A new hair do. Your fake eyelashes.

Try them out.. make sure before hand that you like them, so your not unhappy on your wedding day..Are you having your make up professionally done for your Wedding?
The make up of coarse it will be done professionally, but don't put fake eyelashes, just ask for extra thick lash-mascara.
No way. I wanted to look like MYSELF. Did makeup on my own.
I did my own and my own hair and makeup...Didn't know what i was going to do to my hair till the day of...Came out beautiful i must say...The fake eyelashes i would have done professionally, also get them done a few days before so you can get use to them...
I am a qualified beauty therapist so I did my own make up and also my bridesmaid asked me to do hers for her. I didn't wear fake eyelashes as I didn't want to look too ';drag-queen'; and I wanted to still look me!
No, I got married 2 years ago and I did my own makeup. Every time I've gotten my makeup professionally done, I don't look anything like myself. I preferred doing it myself and it came out very well!
Luckily my sister is a prof. make up artist - she's doing it for me....and as for the fake eyelashes, I was leary at first, but you have to remember that eyelashes (fake) come in a lot of different types. Some blend in so well with your own lashes that they just make yours look longer. Or you could have singles put in....just to make your eyes ';pop'; and look all doe-y eyed like bambi. I had my sis do my face up for my bachelorette party as a trial run, and OMG- the lashes made such a HUGE difference! I totally looked like me, but just a more glamourous me. When my fiance saw me before i left for the party, his jaw literally dropped. And I'm really not a bad looking person to begin with!! haha. You really don't even know that the lashes are there. Go for it!!!!! I am!
I had my make up airbrushed on and it looked completely natural. I did wear fake eyelashes, as did all my bridesmaids. It was a suggestion from the make up artist and it looked great. The length of the lashes were not super long or anything. They were a nice touch. Plus, I did not have to worry about my mascara running or having to touch them up.

    Congrats!
Its not a bad idea. a lot of department stores that have a makeup counter will do it for free. just make it real clear what you want and what you don't want. (like having natural looking makeup and not looking like a barbie doll)

if you are wondering about fake eyelashes, they now come in smaller amounts, so instead of having a whole lash....you can add a few lashes here and there to thicken it up a bit without overdoing it. you can even take the lashes up to your beauty advisor (or makeupdoer) and have her apply them when she does your face.
It's being done professionally under protest. I wanted to DIY since it's SOO expensive but I have some scarring from my ilness that needs to be covered and only an airbrush can do it without smearing on my dress.

I'm doing the fake eyelashes in a few spots. When done right it doesn't look fake. Now if you leave them super long and chunky like that ';I love New York'; chick....well, yeah you are going to look plastic. Keep in mind that many celebrities on the red carpet use fakes and I've never heard anybody comment.

As someone said, try them out first. Make sure you are buying good quality lashes...not the ones in the plastic trays at Walmart. Preferably have your makeup artist use the individual groups of lashes and not the ones on the strips and if needed trim them so they aren't too long compared to your natural lashes.
I told my makeup artist to make me look like me, only better and she did. She put really dark lipstick on me, which I never wear, and my teeth looked so white it麓s almost fake when you look at pictures. I didn麓t have fake eyelashes because I wear contacts and was too afraid the glue might get in my eyes.

Just make sure your professional will give you a tryout run before the wedding-I would hate for anyone to have their makeup done the day of, and wipe most of it off if she looks bad.

PS-it was worth the money because I couldn麓t have held my hand steady enough to do my makeup because I was stressed out!
Get your makeup done at a salon or by a professional makeup artist. Don't listen to people who say you won't look like yourself. That's Crazy!!! Makeup is suppose to enhance your features. Everyone is beautiful in their own way; but NO one is flawless. Not even models.

Having your makeup professionally done insures that you're skin will look flawless and your features will stand out and be more beautiful.

I think having professional hair and makeup IS one of the most important things you can do for yourself. I do my makeup everyday; but I could never do it as well as a professional.
I'm definitely getting my makeup done by a professional.

I'm on the fence as far as fake lashes go. I have seen pics of them that are gorgeous on real brides and others that look obviously fake.
I'm not doing fake eyelashes, but my eyelashes are long anyways.

I am having makeup done for my wedding.

It can get really expensive but the fact that my face doesn't hold on to makeup very good thats why I'm doing it. They're gonna airbrush the foundation on..and everything (excluding the lipstick) is waterproof...

It's going to cost me 375..thats the same price if i were to have another two people doing it...so my maid of honor and matron of honor will be getting their makeup done as well.

Good Luck if you decided to have a professional do your makeup!

Oh and sorry I couldn't answer your question about fake eyelashes, when I have tried to wear them on like halloween or whatnot, they're hard for me to put on.
make-up.. yes professionally.. however, fake eyelashes.. no.. theyre for halloween! just get maybeline mascara.. full and soft, and expansion.. use the full at soft first to separate the lashes.. then the expansion ot make them longer.. put especially more mascara on the last couple lashes to make a subtle wing effect.. pay close attention to the tips of each lash.. use a straight pin to separate any stubborn lashes! hope this helps!

i would really just get it doneWedding day make-up advice?
On your wedding day, you should not have to worry about it.

It's one of the most important days of your life.

Go to salon and get your hair and make up done.

Plus with all the photo's being taken that day, a good beautician will be able to give you a photo perfect look.
i would to be honest go and get your make up done i am self teaching my self makeup artistry and makeup airbrushing and also going to los angeles to do a makeup artistry/special effects makeup course and what i have learnt so far is that if you want something that will look flawless, and that cuts down the oily and shiny look i would honestly go with the airbrush makeup, go to a salon or if you know of someone who knows how to do airbrush makeup then i would go that way its light and very flawless you will get the celebrity look i use the temptu airbrush foundation or the HD foundation which is perfect, if you are in melbourne aus or not far from there if you need some advice or want me to trail some makeup on you let me know and i can come and give you an airbrush makeup for a free trail, good luck with it all...........
Im assuming its going to be warm wherever you live in June.

Youre going to want something light.

You could try a mineral set- like one of the other answers reccomended i think she said everyday minerals. I have never tried it but minerals are usually light and look natural so you wont need to apply powder every hour cause your skin looks oily. I have tried Bare escentuals/bare minerals- i didnt really like it.

Try using a toner/astringent to cut down on the oilyness. Make changes to your diet that can improve your oily skin- obviously nothing will change your skin totally. Drink plenty of water. Obviously dont overwash your face or over exfoliate this will make the problem worse. Get Down clay mask by Origins will control the oil. Matte Scientist is an Oil Controlling Lotion also by Origins is a moisturizer that will help with your oily skin. Try and keep your hair off your face on your wedding day.

A mattifying primer will help your face not look shiny. I believe Sephora brand has one called mattifying primer. Although Smashbox is great. Zero Oil Instant Matte Finish by Origins is a great product. It doesnt dry out your skin. Its about 12 dollars for a little over half an ounce.

I dont know how much coverage you need i.e if you have acne or acne scars. if you do have blemishes try seeing a dermatologist to see what you can do about it before your wedding, honestly it does make a difference.

I think clinique is a great brand for those with skin issues. Its dedicated to sensitive skin. Its fairly light.

Get a good sponge- The beauty blender is spoken of highly. Dont use your fingers it will make your skin oilier.

Avoid makeup with petroleum or oil from petroleum. Stick to oil free makeup. Also avoid products with alcohol- this will aggrivate your skin and force your skin to get oilier.

Ingredients to look for in makeup: Titanium Dioxide is a sun protector. Kaolin Clay is good to control oil. Zinc Oxide is an anti inflammatory.

Get some blotting papers. ELF has a pack and they are only 1 dollar. Wait for your makeup to set before going on to the next thing. Be aware that some make up takes longer (i.e when i use maybelline dream matte mousse- btw, its great for oily skin but might be a bit too heavy for the summer, once again that depends on the humidity and temp where you live- it takes 45 mins to set before i put powder on)

I dont really ask the sephora workers for advice when it comes to something really important like my foundation. Youre better off going to a department store where the people are actually makeup artists and usually have more one on one. But then again that depends on your sephora- where i live the stores are huge, lots of people in and out, tourists- you get the idea. If you live in a smaller town or by a less busy Sephora then they might be of help. You should ask them to apply the makeup for you. Its free but you should buy products.

I use Benefit Bluff Dust powder. It keeps my skin shine free all day (my skin is normal, so it will probably last you several hours) It also neutralizes redness. Its a loose powder so be warned that its not the easiest product to deal with for touch ups.

You can get Origins products at Origins stores or Macys. Clinique and benefit are availible at macys as well as sephora. any other product mentioned is availible at sephora. maybelline and ELF are at drugstores.

    Wedding day make-up trial?

hey guys so im getting married and excited and nervous (im using my cousins account btw) so i want to get mt hair curly/wavy and of course i need a trial ok so when u go to the salon how do u tell them u want to get ur hair and make up done for ur wedding with a trail? haha for my make-up im not sure excatly what kind of make-up look i want do they just see what goes best with ur skin tone? i am very emotinal and i will cry do they use water-proof liner? and can i bring in a picture of how i want it done? im so excited to get married! ahhhhhWedding day make-up trial?
You can tell them to do anything you want. If you want dramatic, they will give you that. If you want natural, they can do that too. Then if there is one or two things you don't like, tell them to change it and they will keep experimenting. A good reason to do trial makeup as well is to see how it reacts with your skin (some people break out really bad from certain types of makeup). Make sure to have them take a picture so the stylists/artists can remember exactly how they made you up.Wedding day make-up trial?
They will take on board everything you want as you are paying the money to get made up for your big day - they will allow you to do what you want really! (within reason)

Take pictures / cuttings of how you want to look and make a list of ideas so you dont forget!

Good luck on your big day! I hope its spectacular!
If you have a Clinique near you,or Dillard's go there! They do wedding make-up trials, for free! I had mine done and loveeeeed it! They dont do hair but it would save you some money if you were going to pay to have a wedding makeup preview done!

Wedding eye make up help....... ?

    hi there,

I am getting married next year and i have really bad black circles under my eyes, i think it's hereditary (my mum has them) and no matter what i do i can not get rid of them, i can honestly say hand on heart i have spent hundreds of 拢's on 'miracle creams'...... and nothing at all works soooooo my question is..... does any one else suffer like this (it does get me down some times i'm only blo*dy 30) and if so can you recommend a good product that will cover them up ?

I am white with a slight tan, not dark but don't look like death warmed up either lol.

Thanks in advance xWedding eye make up help....... ?
A good concealer should do the job but perhaps you might think about a colour balancing cream underneath, I think yellow should be right for you (the body shop do them) but have a play with what does the trick.

As for concealers, YSL's touch eclat is a favourite of mine and most other women and they do a matching foundation with the same light-reflecting pigments in that should bounce light off your skin and make you look radiant.

Of course, if you're really worried about them, get your make-up done professionally. I've had a professional do mine a few times before and they really know how to get your base right even if they're sometimes a bit misguided on what colours suit you.Wedding eye make up help....... ?
It might be that you and your mom have a iron deficiency. Eat iron rich foods like Animal Sources : liver, kidney, chicken and turkey, tripe, shellfish, lean meat, fish tinned, fresh or frozen Non-Animal Sources: dried fruit, nuts, molasses, wholegrain breads, dried beans and lentils, green leafy vegetables, cereals and iron-fortified cereal. Or get yourself a iron supplement from the local drug store. As far as makeup is concerned. Use a lighter concealer under your eyes than the concealer matching your skin type. Make sure it is evenly blended and use a light powder all over. Good luck and relax.
If you have a shopping mall near you with department stores, go to their makeup counters and ask for a free consultation. Hopefully they can recommend a product for you to use.

Actually, I think any makeup store would recommend a good product to you without charging you ... mainly because they want you to actually purchase that product. They want your business, so it's in their best interest to give you good advice.

If you can afford a professional makeup artists to do your wedding-day makeup, I would also consider that.
ok i am going to school next year to become a make-up artist so here are my tips that i hope help you out. if you are not going to get it professionaly done like some brides to have airbrush make- up the best bet to go with is natural looking. of course concealer for those dark circles. physicians formula with the double dose of concealer works on me. use the yellow concealer cream first then the beige cream goes over it so it helps to belend with the foundation. and congrats!
There is a product called dermablend.I've seen that do wonders on people. But it is very heavy and if you don't buy the setting powder with it, it will be all over your dress.Congradulations and enjoy your day.
you just need under eye concealer to cover it up. i use max factor and it works well. but there are tons of different brands and different colors. just find one that matches up to your skin color.

    http://beautyorbust.files.wordpress.com/鈥?/a>
Some concealer and foundation should cover it just fine. Also, try to get a facial a few days ahead of time to relax the muscles.

    ~MLF~
Try Bare Minerals by Bare Escentuals.
    TRY THIS!

    bobbie brown's ';corrector';

check it out in the mall before you buy it, you may just fall in love.
I don't know if there is an Ulta where you live, but I have the same problem and this stuff really works! ULTA Exclusive! Little Amazing Concealer - by Amazing Cosmetics. It's $28 but soooo worth it! I live by it! And it's what I'm using to cover up on my wedding day! I have a slight tan also and I use Golden Light. But you should check it out. Here's the website...

    http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productD鈥?/a>

By the way..Bare Minerals is horrible! I spent $75 on it and nothing. It doesn't conceal. Don't waste your money.
Since you'll be doing your own makeup, get some expert advice first. Go to Sephora or a makeup counter that you like (Clinique, MAC, whatever) and tell them your situation (you may want to call and make an appointment first, sometimes they get busy).

The makeup artist will do a trial run for you. Have her explain each step, pay attention to the techniques and the products that she's using. Take notes if you need to. Make sure she takes the heat/humidity into account. Practice once or twice on your own before the big day. Then, when you do it yourself, you can be confident that it looks professional.

    Airbrush make up for wedding?

i live in san francisco and am getting married next summer. i want to look flawless on my day and was considering air brush make up. does anyone have experience with this? how long just it last? does it look really good? etc? how much does it cost??? where can i get it down in my area???Airbrush make up for wedding?
Airbrush makeup is the best!!! It lasts longer than regular makeup (until the end of the reception) and looks flawless in pictures. Cost will depend on where you're located, but it shouldn't be any more than a professional with regular makeup. I would say that should put you in the $200-$300 range.Airbrush make up for wedding?
I have decided to go for airbrush make up for my bid day. Last month I went for my trial, I was very happy with the flawless results, it barely felt like i was even wearing make up. I had big night out and when i got home 2am in the morning my make up was still perfect. I just got some photos back from that night and my make up looked fantastic.

I would highly recommend it to any bride.

    Wedding Day Make-Up/ Hair Help!!!?

Ok, so can anyone please recommend a great airbrush make-up/ or regular make-up location? I鈥檓 also in need of a place that does hair. (Preferably in the surrounding Los Angeles, (CA) area). If anyone can offer any suggestions based off of positive past experiences I鈥檇 greatly appreciate it!!! Thanks!

    %26lt;333Wedding Day Make-Up/ Hair Help!!!?
I'm sorry I can't recommend anyone personally--I live in NY.

I got my make-up airbrushed for my wedding day and it was well worth the extra money. It is incredibly light, makes you look flawless and lasts ALL day through heat and humidity and sweat (I got married in August). For your wedding day, I firmly believe in splurging and having someone else do your hair and make-up. Try contacting some of the people on this website...

    http://www.partypop.com/Searches/los_ang鈥?/a>

Otherwise, I would check out some salons near you and get a trial done for both hair and make-up. Start calling up some places and ask if they do airbrushing. Also head over to the mall or to the make-up store (Sephora, MAC, etc...) and ask the sales associates by the make-up counters because many of them freelance and will do make-up (and they more often than not do airbrushing as well) or can recommend someone.Wedding Day Make-Up/ Hair Help!!!?

No but ';Can you feel the love tonight'; is good.

Hair and Make up for wedding...please read?

I am getting married in April of next year. I live in Manhattan Beach California...where can I test make up artist and hair stylist? How must does this cost to test?Hair and Make up for wedding...please read?
I live in Houston so I don't know of a place. Moved from CA about 5 years ago. But I would suggest airbrushed make up. It'll last 16 hours and still look flawless. I'm using Hues by Heather. Maybe you can go and check out her website for more info before you look around in your area. Some places charge for consultations while others don't. I noticed that the ones that have a high reputation do charge while the others that are probably just as good but without the rep don't.

WAIT!! The other make up/ hair company I considered using is also in Los Angeles (home town =)) . It's called The Perfect Face. They do awesome work as well. Hues by Heather and The Perfect Face will come to your location of choice to do the hair and make up.

You can also use MAC. Their consultaion is free but you have to purchase a minimum amount of product. If you don't mind touching up and all that I'd do this instead. You would just have to get your hair done separately somewhere else.

HOPE THIS HELPS!Hair and Make up for wedding...please read?
You can test any stylist. Look up places on yahoo local and you can read reviews. Prices are going to vary greatly by salon. The place I went to charged $65 for hair and make up and it was $30 for a trial run. Some places give a trial for free though you'll just have to call and ask.

Help, beauty experts! What colors of make-up should i put if i will be wearing pink in a wedding?

I will be one of the bride's maid in my brother's wedding,i want to know what color to put on my eyes,my lips,my cheeks, and how to apply a foundation.Help, beauty experts! What colors of make-up should i put if i will be wearing pink in a wedding?
you should wear colors that compliment your features not your clothing. Wear a shadow that compliments your eye color and a lip shade that goes well with your skin tone.Help, beauty experts! What colors of make-up should i put if i will be wearing pink in a wedding?
hot pink for the eyes would be pretty light pink for the cheeks and regular pink topped off with a little gloss would be perfect for the lips
Here is an idea, get a three in one lips-eyes-cheeks thing...and then over your eyeshadow, put on black eyeliner...classic...and foundation-put it on like any face cream but it has to be even all over---very crucial!!!
    different soft shades of pink...
If you really want your makeup to look flawless for the wedding have it applied by a professional. They will usually do it for free at makeup counters in department stores if you purchase something. I like Lancome makeup the best. Since you aren't sure how to properly apply it, a professional will get the job done. Good luck.
look on maccosmetics.com they have alot of really good tips especially for weddings
    clear, glossy lips

    rosy/orange-ish blush

    purple/pink eyeshadow

    - try not to wear heavy eye liner because that will ';weigh down'; the pink look. just curl the lashes and put on mascara... maybe brown liner will be fine.

    yay weddding!! good luck %26gt;.-
Get a foundation that is one shadelighter than your skin. Apply lightly less is more when it comes to make-up.

For your eyes apply a beige to your entire eyelid, with some white to the inner eyelide top and bottom. On the crease use a maroon color and blend it in with a pink eye shadow. Use a brown eye liner on the lid above your lashes to accent your eyes and some on the bottom but only go in half way top and bottom.

For your cheeks use something to highlight your cheek area, like a peach or if your darker skinned use a rosey color.

lips go with a gloss with a pink or shimmer under tone.

    This should look great.
White eyeshadow, or shimmery pale pink would be nice too. Lips would prolly look good with a pink gloss, not too bright or too pale, it depends on your coloring as well. foundation, get something that matches your skin tone nicely and apply a thin even layer. cheeks? classy pink, not too much. sorry if it sounds like you're going to turn into a rose bush!- i just think all the pink would be nice if you match shades well. White eyeshadow though, def.

Have fun at the wedding hun!
Sorry but that's impossible to answer on here.

We all need to know your skin color, complextion, hue, what color your eyes are, size and shape of your eyes

Pink clothes will go with any color of makeup, it's your face that determines the rest.

I like MAC makeup myself. But pick any makeup company, and they will give you a complimentary make over, by a make up artist. Have fun at the wedding!
You should either wear a pastel shade of pink on your eyes.Or white eyeliner goes pretty good with everything, soft pink on your cheeks, and as for the foundation, get some of those makeup pads, put a little bit on and then dab a little on your forehead,a little on both cheeks, and some on the chin. Then rub it in circular motion until all of it is distributed equally:)
it really depends on your skin tone-but neutrals seem to pop with pink clothing
natural colors with a hint of pastel colors
    nude beige,brown........
bronze eyeshadows with a hint of shimmer and a light pink blush (very natural looking) and some light pink lip gloss. Don't wear foundation unless you have really bad skin and you absolutely have to. Otherwise, foundation will rub off onto your dress and will also make you look bad if you have not blended it in well enough. I usually skip it on a special occasion because if not put on properly it will look bad in pictures and will make you feel uncomfortable having all that stuff on your face.
well it depends on the shade of the pink dress if its a lighter pink were light shade of make up so for eyes wear a dusty pink eyeshadow and wear a not so noticeable lip gloss wear a rose color blush and just make sure the foundation matches your skin tone
    pastel colors...no reds
ok sweetie.. this is what you do... KEEP IT SIMPLE. If you are wearing pink.. you definetly dont want to clash outrageous makup with the color pink becaeuse it is a very bold color that really stands out. Depeneding on your skin tone, use a foundation that is only a few shades darker or lighter than your own, this will look very natural. To apply foundation, lightly brush all over face to even out using a make up sponge. On your eyes stick with beiges or browns. These colors look great with pink. On your lips, use a shade that is close to the color of the dress... or one or two shades darker. Apply lip gloss over lipstick to give a beautiful shine. And on your cheeks use a very light rosy pink, ( tip.... suck in cheeks and sweep across the cheek bones.) OK sweetie i hope this helps.. GOOD LUCK
if ur wearing pink try nude colors and some rosie blush to stand out use thin eyeliner to bring ur eyes to attention
probably a light pink insted you like dark pink.
    try blue...
u can go for a more natural look nothing too bright though maybe like a bronze color on the eye a pink shimmer lip stick and i dont do cheeks or foundation or u can do a light pink on the eye
    hey

maybe pink and red they will probably match!
Bronze colors for eyeshadow, lips (natural), cheeks and foundation I don't know much about that!
For a wedding, I think pastel earth tones would be best. Browns and pale pinks, and gold.
Use a wedge sponge to apply foundation, test to see if it's your color by comparing it to the inside of your arm. Use a powder afterwards to get a nice even base. If you use under-eye concealer do not put powder over it, it looks strange.

Peachy and gold blushes are usually good on any skin tone and go nicely with light and dark pink. Apply it to the apples of your cheeks and a little into the hairline around your face for a nice glow.

As far as eyeshadow it may depend on eye color, and preference. If you want something a bit natural look in the mirror and decide what your natural eyelid color is. Enhance it. Mine, for example, is kind of purplish some days so I use light plum colors. If you don't know then perhaps gold, peach, purple, or pink hues. Mac, Lancome, and Nars make great bright colors and also they'll be happy to help make suggestions at the make-up counter.

For lips I'd go with a fairly sheer gloss, a little pink to enhance the color of your lips. You can get cheap stuff in tubes at Target or Walgreen's, or Lancome, Estee Lauder, and Dior make great glosses (juicy tubes are my favorite).

Have fun and I'm sure you'll look great whatever you do!!

Wedding... hair ... make up ?

i have curly golden hair %26lt; i leave natral , with fair skin ,

i have curl and straight product and was wonderin if you could give me beautiful hair tips?

    the make up i have is ;

eyeliner ; white , dark grey and black

face ; light bronzer , tinted moisterizer

i also have mascara and other lil bits , do u knw a makeup style that will look altra sexy ?????

pics could really help only have a day to prepear xxxx thank u guys u the bestxxxWedding... hair ... make up ?
Leave your Curls Down , Pull 1/2 your hair back an put in some Flowers , white would be nice to match your dress.

Make up .. go get it done by a Pro. it's not much money at all , an you will be thrilled !!Wedding... hair ... make up ?
you want a more smoky look Id say with that hair and skin. it always looks great that way. make sure its sorta dark but not not too much. making a cat design with eyeliner would be too much so you shouldnt make it too fancy cause youll always want to remember it. Looking beautiful and somewhat simple is the best way. As for your hair you should put it up maybe sorta messy and leave a few curly strands in the front.
You can go to a Belk store and they will do your makeup along with all of your bridesmaids makeup for FREE!! I just got married in May and that is where we went. You definately do not want the stress of having to do your hair and makeup yourself. I think you should go with a natural look, not to drastic, you don't want to scare your future hubby. As for the hair, go to a local Great Clips or any salon and tell them to help you. I think an updo at a Great Clips is around $65 but it is well worth it!! I think, since you have naturally curly hair, you should wear half of it up and the rest down and flowing. It will look great especially with a tiara and a veil. Curly is always the way to go, it spells elegance!! If you don't want to go and pay for the updo, you could do it at home, just make sure you have some bobby pins, a big barrel curling iron and some good hair spray!! It's simple. Good luck with the wedding!!
Go to a salon. And get your makeup professionally done. If you do it yourself you wont look as good....trust me. You want the pro's to help you out.

Getting makeup done at mac costs around 35$ i believe...

And you can get your hair done for about 90$

It will be well worth it when you look HOT for your wedding day!
First use eyeliner(black). Start from the inside corner of your eye, making a thin line. As you continue to the other side, make the line thicker but very close to your lashes.

Then use your eyeshadow. I think you should use a golden color, apply it to your whole lid and make it fade out (http://www.sofeminine.co.uk/beaute/05lec鈥?/a> Make the area just above your lashes darker then everything else..This gives you a more dramatic look.

Then apple mascara, not too long but thick. (http://www.fotosearch.com/comp/PHT/PHT07鈥?/a>

then use your moisturizer and A LITTLE blush.
i say do your hair and make-up as you normally do it, only bump it up a notch...

if you normally wear your hair curly, then wear it curly...maybe pin it up a little or give it more volume than you normally wear it...

and with make-up, wear the same colors you normally do, only go a little heavier with your application than usual...

...you want to feel comfortable, yet you want everything a little more dramatic than usual to look good in your wedding pics

    ...congratulations!

Doing make-up for friend's sister's wedding, how much should I charge?

She has 7 women total that need their faces done. I do make-up for fun and love it but I'm not sure how to charge for it. I use Mary Kay cosmetics from bottom to top and it looks amazing. I will probably be driving to location. Any suggestions?Doing make-up for friend's sister's wedding, how much should I charge?
    1) A friend's sister? Offer to do it for free, but accept any tip that they offer. You shouldn't charge friends for helping, especially for something that you love to do.

If you sell Mary Kay, great, maybe they'll want to purchase products. If not, but you're trying to build a makeup application business, you can always charge any referrals that you get from doing this for free.

A multi-million dollar national concrete company started 30 years ago by doing a driveway for free (they ate the cost of the supplies) just to get started and get referrals.

Since you're not licensed, you need to give to receive.

    2) Or, figure how much products you will use up and triple it. Usually, contractors triple the cost of supplies.Doing make-up for friend's sister's wedding, how much should I charge?
When we got our makeup done for my wedding at a salon I believe they charged $40/person. I would think that for family/friends about half price would be fair... less for a child. Make sure that you cover your gas to get there, and the cost of the cosmetics, and its even fine for you to make a little cash off of it. If you are doing it as a favor then maybe even charge a little less, but remember, it would cost a lot more in a salon. So they should be appreciative either way.

If it makes you more comfortable you could always ask her what she was looking to spend on make-up and go from there.
Many places do makeovers for free.. For my friends wedding, we went to Kohls and got free makeup done.. But I think I heard something mentioned about the hairdresser willing to do it for $30 a person.

Look at the time it will take you to do the makeup. Start with that $30 as a base.. X7 people.. $210.. But how many hours would it take? When we got ours done it was nearly an hour on the one girl who didnt take the time before hand to pick out her colors and makeup early.. But these girls could probably do their own foundation and basics, saving time..

Hmm... Its a tough call. Just gotta go with what you feel your time is worth. $30 for one makeover done with YOUR makeup and You traveling to them, may not be bad. But $20 doesnt seem bad either.
A salon would charge at least $30 per woman and you are traveling.

She also is not too close to you for it to be a favor. Were you invited to the wedding originally?

If not, I would say at least $30

If so, maybe $25, either way get her an appropriate wedding gift so she doesn't confuse the issue.
Makeup places usually charge $100 for bridal and $45-50 for maids/special guests.

Since she is your friends sister I'd calculate the cost of the makeup + gas and divide it by 7... do the bride for free and have the rest pay lol. or if the bride insists on paying for everyones makeup just charge her for the makeup and gas and supplies.
Charge A little . Maybe just enough to pay for cosmetics . Its her special day and im sure she is spending enough money already !! plus if you love doing it you will still have fun(: if you do well at it they will probably refer people to you in the future !
    You have two choices:

1 - Charge them a fee, maybe enough to cover expenses etc (or make a few bucks)

2 - Give it her as her wedding gift and use it as experience (if you're going to the wedding that is)
I am paying a Bobbi Brown artist $65 per girl to do our makeup. She is coming to my home to do it. My makeup is free since I am the bride. If you are professionally trained, charge at least $50. If you're not trained, I'd do it for free or cost.

    Good luck!
Well for your friend don't charge,

I would charge like 20 dollars - remember that some companies offer a free make-over with a purchase of an item.

So base yourself on the expense of that item and charge them like that.
Maybe you can call around a few places that do this professionally and ask how much they charge to get an idea of what is fair.
If this is a good friend and you would be asked to the wedding, give this as your gift to the bride.
    60 bucks...

    Wedding Day Make- Up?

Where are you getting yours done? I'm not very good or creative at doing my own and neither is my family! I definitely need to go somewhere. Any suggestions? We have a Bon Ton in our local mall, but other than that, I don't know where to go.

Thanks in advance for any ideas!Wedding Day Make- Up?
Try a Salon. I've seen makeup application starting at $55 and working it's way up.

In the long run, getting your makeup done at a salon might be a better option. When you go to those department store counters, the salespeople are ultimately trying to sell you something. They might want you to buy the lipstick they put on you or the eyeliner for touch ups later.

In actuality, they might be selling you their item of the week and not what looks best on you. In high school, I had my makeup done at one of those counters for prom. The women put orange eyeshadow on me and tried selling it to me. I asked her to take it off. Later that night, my friend told me the same thing happened to her, with the same women, at the same makeup counter. They were just trying to make a sale.

At a salon, you are getting a makeup artist. NOT someone who's hired to sell makeup in the mall and give free makeovers. You're getting some who's job is to make you look good, because you're paying them.Wedding Day Make- Up?
where ever you go make sure you try it out before hand!

i've heard some horror stories of people ending up with clown faces because they didn't try out the look first

someone you know is always best so you don't have to head to the mall on your big day

a lot of hair salons have make up artists on staff so check where you're getting your hair done

as far as going to the mall - i hear the best place is mac is the best

but again go there and have them do a test - find out exactly what you like - take practice pics at home see how it comes out on film - everyone looks different in pics and make up will defign your features in pictures - without it you get all washed out and who wants that? i never wear make up but i will on my wedding day!

make sure they do it exactly the way you liked it in the practice runs
Well, I'm not having any makeup on when I get married. So, I'd suggest that. Because yes, you're supposed to look beautiful, but unless you have some bad acne or other skin condition, I'd go just as you are.

    Natural beauty is the best!
I love Benefit brand makeup! I got my wedding day makeup done there. If you have a local Belk or Dillards any of the makeup counters there will give you a great makeover, but IMO Benefit is the best! =)
