Make up for wedding ?

Hi Im getting married in July and would like some tips on what colour make up to wear. I dont want to get a professional in to do it as I have tried and I dont like any that they do.

I am very pale with brown hair and brown eyes.

I was thinking of maybe keeping if natural with browns neutral shadeeyeshadows, lipstick, etc, but I dont know weather or not to add a bit of colour like green eyeshaow and pink lipstick. Im not sure, My dress is Ivory but I cant see than making a difference as I cant really wear Ivory make up to match lol,

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

ThanksMake up for wedding ?
To answer your question, there are a couple of things you need to answer for yourself:

1. Dramatic?

2. Natural?

3. Staying power?

If you are going for dramatic, use a smokey eye and you'll look beautiful. Line eyes (both top and bottom) with a brown pencil. Then use a dark brown and blend from lashline to just above the crease. Smudge this same color along the bottom lash line. Apply at least 2 heavy coats of mascara. Find a light color like cream or ivory with a little shimmer as the highlighter under the brow bone and in the corners of your eyes.

My number one suggestion is to go NATURAL. On your eyes use a light brown as a base with plums and purples as your other colors. Purples and plums will make your eyes POP! Use a brown eye liner and mascara to top off your look.

Staying power is going to be important. You want your pictures like you had your make-up professionally done even if you did it yourself. Make sure that you use a foundation that is NOT going to smear or transfer to clothing or others. I would suggest MAC's FACE AND BODY. It will give you that flawless skin. Just remember to blend well.

Try these out and see what looks best. Remember, the key is to look beautiful on your wedding day.Make up for wedding ?
I gave a lot of thought to this. It's your special day so you'd want to look really special, you must have the spotlight. Why not try doing something to highlight one of your best features? Your lips, maybe? You can use a pink eye shadaw, charcoal mascara (PLEASE not blue) and maybe a cherry red thickly applied GLOSS on your lips.

P.S. If you decide to use my answer, let me know so I can give you some tips on it. If not, let me know so I can help you out with some more tips.

keeping it natural is a wonderful, and you'll already be a blushing bride, i would suggest playing up a certain area of your face such as your eyes, get some fake eyelashes ( you wont be able to tell that they are fake, trust me) they will absolutely make your eyes pop, maybe a little bit of dark brown eyeshadow and an extra layer of mascara. If you choose to play up your eyes, try and go easy with the rest of the makeuo, you dont want to look like a drag queen, or maybe you do i dont know, some drag queens actualy look better than a lot of girls, not impling that you should look like a drag queen. :P haha okay but it doesnt have to be the eyes you play up it could be your lips. try wearing a bright red lipstick, it looks good on any skintone!

Congrats on the big day!

hope this was useful!

bye
try using a light purple eyeshadow, black eyeliner, red lipstick and a pink or red or rose colored blush. if you hav a pale complexion always a darker color but not to dark eyeshadow
look in reality I refuse the idea of make up without talking about wedding,me and the most of people (boys-men) prefer the nature beauty specially in specials time like wedding for me go with Ur nature beauty go and make them crazy about U go and be the top one,go and light there chapel,Take care I'm here for more answers ,Ur friend Taki
hii pixie, as your id suggests i think you take extra care of your feet and you hav a pretty feet.......just put more and more efforts to make your feet look gorgeous
You can go with green shadow or pink lipstick but stick to one or the other, always remember when accenting a feature, pick one or the other or it winds up what could be beautiful, turns out to be gaudy. Congrats on ur wedding! Best Wishes!
hey!

i would suggest shades of golds and browns for eye shadow and black mascara

clear lipgloss

blusher or a tiny bit of bronzer

I like your idea of keeping it natural, but I would do everything natural and do one lush thing, you know? Really lush eyelashes with white eyeshadow (do it sheer) and pale blush; defined lashes, white eyeshadow, red-pink lips; ect.
I wz a bridesmaid nd i have brown hair nd pale skin! I wore a light glittery eyeshadow nd a natural colour lipgloss the lipgloss wz virginv and it lasted 4 ages! The green also looks nice in the pictures
makeup counters in department stores and sephora are great for this. if you go in at a time when it isn't busy you can just ask them for help in selecting colours. you don't have to buy the products, just get an idea of different palettes and how they look on you. depending on your budget you can purchase them there or find similar colours at a cheaper place while they are still on your face.
You should wear natural colors. It's your wedding and you are going to be the center of attention. Wear a light brown eye shadow and a light pink lipstick. Don't wear green eyeshadow. I don't think it will go with what you are wearing.

Congrats on your wedding day!

Okay, this will be easy.

YOUR EYES: If you have brown eyes, i suggest using a black mascara, and a neutral- toned (brown) eyeliner. This will make your eyes look deep, but not gothic(because your not using too much black). Then, I say eyeshadow is a no-go. Most grown up women don't wear eyeshadow, because it is very little-girlish. But if you must, use a creamy brown or tan.

YOUR FACE: Use a bit of foundation, so your skin looks even. And, if you have blemishes or acne, cover 'em up!

YOUR EYEBROWS: If they are looking a a little thick or bushy, wax them, or if you want a no cost deal, pluck them. Whatever you do, do not shave them off and draw new eyebrows!

YOUR CHEEKS: Use a flushed pink blush for your cheeks, whick looks best for brunettes.

YOUR LIPS: This might sound crazy, but trust me. Use a pink lipstick, with a hint of orange, to bring some color. Make sure you use high quuality lipstick, because otherwise, it dissappears in 5 minutes!

Hope this helps!
I think you are totally right to go with natural colors browns... You don't want to look back at your wedding photos and see yourself with outrageous makeup. I am sure your dress is beautiful, leave that to grab peoples attention.
