I have my sisters wedding coming up. I need some tips on making my make up last all day..any ideas?

Take your time aplying it.


Make sure your skin is clean and well hydrated before applying any make-up. If you use a moisturiser, try and wait at least 15 minutes after applying it before you put on your make-up to give it time to sink in so it doesnt interact with your base.





Apply on a light amount of foundation to start with. If you have one or can get one using a foundation brush helps to give a nice smooth layer. Build it up to the overage you want bit by bit. If you intend to wear eyeshadow and lipstick then also aply a small amount of foundation over your eylids and lips respectively to act as a good base.


Use a translucent poweder dusted lightly over our entire face to fix the foundation.


for your eyes, start of with a light coating of a neautral or pale colour. this helps to anchor any other colours. again build up bit by bit so there isnt any excess.





similarly for lips, using a brush if you have one, build up the colour layer by layer until you have the effect you want. Blot in between each application. Wear a translucant powder over your foundation- it will keep your foundation in place all day, as the powder acts as a barrier (as well as keeping the skin looking shine-free)


Also, another tip is too try a liquid cheek stain instead of a powder blush, as the powder blush easily rubs off yet the stain, sinks into skin, insead of lying on surface.


Borjous Paris have just brought out a new lip and cheek stain in their range if you want a cheaper alternative. If you have more cash then I would reccomend The lip and cheek tint from The Body Shop- its around 拢9, yet lasts AGES. I've had mine for about 3/4 month and still have over half of it left.


-Practice with the liquid cheek tint before the day though, as at first it can be quite hard to determine how much to put on.-

Make sure to start with a moisturizer and make sure you wash your face before applying anything! use a pencil to outline your lips, if you want your lips to last revelon makes a long lasting lip gloss that works! don't over do anything because you think it will disappear make sure to put the white mascara that i can't think the name of.. umm it makes ur lashes longer and when you put the regular mascara on it will look a lot fuller! or its called primer use some soft colors that match your dress and your face always looks better with a big, white smile!
maybelline everstay foundation is the best stuff on the market. believe me i have tried enough! It also creates a good base for whatever eyeshadow or blush you use with it. Seal it with pressed powder, guaranteed to stay put all day!

Spray hairspray into the air in front of you and walk into it. It will help it last all day. Also, make sure that your Mascara is waterproof, and if posible, your eyeliner also.
just take a powder with you so you can touch up on toilet passes, and maybe a bit of eye shadow, i dont see why your mascara and blusher wont last as long as its not a cheap one
Wear a light natural makeup thick makeup tends to go a bit patchy after a long day xxx

clarins theres a product they have that tightens your skin and and makes it so foundation doesnt come up if real realy works !
Buy some all day makeup from Boots.
After you are done applying ur makeup Mist ur face with hairspray...trust me it works.
