Argh, I wish I could remember the magazine I saw it in... but anyways in a bridal magazine a few years back they featured an Old Hollywood style wedding, and the bride actually looked like Dita Von Teese (naturally, but hair and make-up as well), and the whole wedding turned out BEAUTIFUL... at least from the pictures the magazine printed. They had this gorgeous old car instead of a limo as well, which just added to the whole thing. The only thing I didn't like was the men wore fedora hats, but that is just because I don't like fedoras lol.
i LOVE that idea!! my only concern would be when it comes to kiss the bride, your lovely red lipstick getting all over your man's lips!!
pickup several lipsticks to test ones that wont smudge or transfer but will still make your lips look bright and moist.
the last thing a bride should have to worry about is her lipstick when she's about to kiss her husband!
It looks beautiful and as long as you have the features and the dark hair then why not?
Also remember that your photographer and videographer can easily do that with special effects for your video and pictures as well :)
For your wedding, you are supposed to look like your idea of a queen. If that's what makes you feel like you're worth a million bucks, then that's whats right for you.
I think it would be beautiful. I absoulutely love the pop of the red lipstick. I think your future hubby will be awestruck when he sees you.
It is YOUR wedding, so do what makes YOU happy.
